Qatar Racing

Qatar Racing owns, races and trades thoroughbred bloodstock, including stallions, mares and young stock. It was established in 2010, following the purchase of its first stallion, champion miler Makfi (since sold to stand in Japan), and the operation currently stands stallions in Britain, France and Australia.

The company has horses-in-training in Britain, Ireland, France, Germany, Australia and the USA. While the broodmares are predominantly based at Tweenhills, with some mares also in France, Ireland, USA, Japan, New Zealand and Australia.

It has a commercial arrangement with the Aga Khan Studs enabling Qatar Racing to stand stallions in France and it is also part owner of the Australian based stallion, Zoustar.
